The UAE continues its significant support for healthcare in Gaza by delivering essential medical supplies and medicines to the UK field hospital and UK-Med clinics in the region.
This effort, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, addresses the severe shortage of medical supplies in Gaza, where the local healthcare system is struggling to meet the urgent needs of patients.
The UAE field hospital in Rafah has dispatched approximately three tonnes of medications and medical supplies to the UK field hospital, which serves displaced individuals in the Al Mawasi safe zone.
Since the launch of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, over 400 tonnes of medical aid have been delivered to the Gaza Strip.
The UAE is also collaborating with global medical organisations, including the World Health Organisation, to enhance humanitarian efforts and ensure necessary treatments reach those in need.
