Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a meeting today with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meeting took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi and focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries for their mutual benefit and to contribute to the security and stability of the region.
The discussions covered various topics of mutual interest, including the regional situation and the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the UAE’s belief in the importance of establishing an international approach to multilateral action based on cooperation and partnership. Such an approach, he stated, would help meet the aspirations of people for development, progress, and prosperity.
Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the significance of adhering to the principles of good neighborliness and engaging in positive and constructive dialogue among the countries of the region. He emphasized that these principles serve as the foundation for stability, prosperity, and leadership in the region.
