Tunisia Hosts 15th Arab Conference for Heads of Security Media Offices

Secretary General of Arab Interior Ministers Council Mohammad Bin Ali Kuman inaugurated on Wednesday the 15th Arab Conference of heads of security media Offices.

The conference tackles a number of issues on the role of media in disseminating the culture of human rights, means of confronting fake news, rumors of digital media platforms, security repercussions of Tiktok app and experiences of a number of Arab countries in using media in combating terrorism.

Heads of security media bodies attend the event along with representatives for the Arab States Broadcasting Union.

Meanwhile, Kuman highlighted the role of security media in disseminating human culture.

Cairo will host in September a joint conference of security bodies and national committees for human rights in Arab countries.

Kuman underlined the importance of addressing all security issues and using modern social marketing concepts in security issues.
