Early this Sunday, the Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes around the Syrian capital of Damascus.
These military actions occurred in the wake of projectiles landing in the occupied Golan Heights, coinciding with a significant rocket barrage from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel.
This recent aerial aggression comes after Israel previously bombed the city of Baalbek, a stronghold of the Hezbollah militia, marking the third such incident since October 8th.
Notably, Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance movement in Lebanon, has made headlines once again, claiming responsibility for a series of targeted attacks on Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.
The group’s fighters launched two suicide drones aimed at Iron Dome launchers stationed at the Israeli military site in “Kfar Blum” at approximately 12:20 pm local time.
These attacks resulted in precise hits on the designated targets, showcasing Hezbollah’s continued capability to challenge Israeli security measures.
In a statement released following the attacks, Hezbollah emphasized that these operations were carried out in solidarity with the resilient Palestinian people in Gaza.
The militant group expressed unwavering support for the ongoing resistance efforts of Palestinians against Israeli occupation and aggression.
By targeting the Iron Dome, Hezbollah sought to demonstrate its commitment to standing by the Palestinian cause and challenging Israeli military dominance in the region.
