A Saudi Airlines plane caught fire upon landing at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar, Pakistan, on Thursday, the Civil Aviation Authority of Peshawar confirmed.
All passengers and crew members were evacuated safely, and flight operations at the airport have been suspended until further notice, officials told Xinhua under the condition of anonymity.
The Riyadh-Peshawar flight caught fire as it touched the ground for landing.
Firefighters quickly responded and extinguished the fire in the left landing gear without causing significant damage to the aircraft.
The 276 passengers and 21 crew members on board were safely evacuated using an inflatable slide.
