Saudi Arabia’s Zakat Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) successfully intercepted a narcotics smuggling attempt at the Al-Batha border checkpoint this past Thursday.

A concealed stash of 403 grams of heroin, along with 2,500 additional pills of various other illegal drugs, were discovered during a standard vehicle inspection of a truck.

In an official communication, the authority encourages citizens and residents to report any information pertinent to possible smuggling activities or breaches of customs regulations.

Individuals can utilize the confidential hotline number 1910, contact internationally via 00 966 114208417, or communicate through email at [email protected].

Assurance of stringent confidentiality in handling reports has been provided, and monetary incentives are available for information leading to successful apprehensions.
