Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, an adviser at the Saudi Royal Court, engaged in discussions with Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame, in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, on Tuesday. The two parties deliberated on avenues to bolster cooperation between the two countries in diverse sectors. In addition to this, they addressed the latest developments in regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Qattan conveyed a verbal message from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia to President Kagame. The message touched upon the bilateral relations between the two nations and ways to enhance mutual cooperation, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

For his part, President Kagame expressed his country’s enthusiasm about hosting two summits this year in the Kingdom – the inaugural “Saudi-African Summit” and the fifth “Arab-African Summit.”

In a related development, Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan met with Rwanda’s Foreign Minister, Vincent Biruta. They further discussed the bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Rwanda and other topics of shared interest.
