Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo concluded 2023 in spectacular fashion, netting his 54th goal of the year. This achievement came as he rounded off his team Al Nassr’s 4-goal spree against Al Taawoun in the 19th round of the Saudi Roshan League, securing his position as the world’s top scorer for the year.

Ronaldo scored the fourth goal for Al Nassr in the added time of the match, continuing his reign at the top of the global scoring list for 2023. This latest goal marks his consistent performance in the Saudi League, where he has been a formidable force for five consecutive rounds, bringing his total to 54 goals, including 20 in the Saudi League alone.

At 38, Ronaldo has outshined other football luminaries such as French star Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain and England’s Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, both of whom have scored 52 goals. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland of Manchester City trails slightly behind in fourth place with 50 goals.

Ronaldo’s remarkable scoring feat not only highlights his enduring prowess on the field but also cements his legacy as one of the greatest footballers of all time. His continued success in the Saudi Roshan League is a testament to his skill, dedication, and impact in the world of football.
