Hundreds of protesters, including soldiers, officers, and demonstrators, took part in massive rallies and blocked several roads in various parts of Israel against judicial protests, according to Israeli media reports.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, hundreds of protesters, including former soldiers and officers, marched from three points towards the entrance of the Israeli Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv as part of protests against the Netanyahu government.
The newspaper also noted that protesters against the Netanyahu government closed Route 2 as part of widespread demonstrations throughout Israel.
According to the Israeli channel Kan, protesters closed the entrance to the Ministry of Defense headquarters in Tel Aviv as part of the protest demonstrations.
The protesters aim to disrupt several train stations, demonstrate outside the Histadrut building in Tel Aviv, and organize a demonstration on Kaplan Street, which is one of the main protest centers.
The protest movements’ plans include closing major roads. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the protesters will start closing roads, including highways.
From there, they will move to train station platforms. In the evening, the focus will be on Kaplan Street and other protest centers throughout Israel.
At the same time, protesters working in high-tech companies will attempt to disrupt the activity of internet websites and applications.
Clashes erupted between the police and protesters at intersections during last week’s protests, which resulted in the arrest of several demonstrators. On Tuesday, the protesters will also attempt to block the main Ayalon highways in Tel Aviv.
The efforts of the protesters will be concentrated at train stations, which will witness extensive participation starting Tuesday afternoon, especially in the train stations of Haifa, Benjamin, Herzliya, Tel Aviv, and Lod.
