French international Kylian Mbappe has officially signed with Real Madrid, in an event presided over by club president Florentino Perez at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The ceremony welcomed the new star in front of approximately 80,000 fans.
Mbappe was seen earlier at the club’s training facility, where he visited the locker room and took several photos next to his designated spot. Enthusiastic Real Madrid fans gathered around the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium hours before the official presentation of their new French player.
Fans displayed a large banner near the Bernabeu which read, “Thank you Kylian Mbappe for the childhood dream,” referencing Mbappe’s long-held desire to play for Real Madrid.
Mbappe also completed his medical examination at the La Moraleja Hospital before being officially introduced at a grand ceremony today in front of the Royal Club’s supporters.
Upon leaving the hospital, Mbappe signed shirts bearing his name and current number with Real Madrid, amid festive surroundings near the Bernabeu Stadium.
In an interview with the Spanish network “El Chiringuito,” Mbappe expressed his elation about fulfilling his dream of playing in Madrid, stating, “The dream has become a reality.”
Mbappe’s arrival garnered significant media attention even before he entered the hospital for his medical check-up earlier today.
Kylian Mbappe has had a spectacular career so far with significant achievements. He was awarded the Best Men’s Player at the Globe Soccer Awards. He has won the FIFA World Cup with France in 2018 and has been a key player in their national team ever since. At the club level, he has won multiple French league titles with Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco, alongside several domestic cups and super cups. He has also been recognized individually with numerous awards, including multiple Ligue 1 Player of the Year and Golden Boot awards.
