The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum, Professor Imad Al-Din Al-Amin Al-Tahir Ardi, continues to liaise with a number of Sudanese university directors across various states to ensure a conducive learning environment for Khartoum University students as they resume their online studies. The online study centers have been designated within the respective universities.
In a press statement, the University’s Director mentioned that online studies have already commenced in the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing Sciences, and Architecture, in accordance with the recommendations of the Deans Council.
He further stated that a number of faculties that have completed their course work are now preparing to conduct their examinations. Additionally, postgraduate students have initiated their examination procedures, in coordination with the deputy deans of the Postgraduate Studies faculty in their respective specialized councils.
Regarding the universities designated as examination centers, the University’s Director affirmed that the deans have been in touch with their counterparts in the concerned universities, and arrangements are currently being made to conduct the examinations.
Acknowledging the circumstances of many students residing outside of Sudan, the University has coordinated with the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo to identify a location that will serve as an examination center for these students, based on their faculties. The examination date and the location of the center in Cairo will be announced once all arrangements have been finalized.
The Director of Khartoum University expressed gratitude to the directors of the universities that welcomed cooperation with the University, and thanked the deans for their appreciated efforts that resulted in the resumption of online studies and the arrangement of examinations.
