On the sidelines of the 162nd regular session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level in Cairo, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met with Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

According to a statement from the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both parties emphasized the critical need to provide necessary support to UNRWA to continue its indispensable humanitarian services.

More than 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza, currently facing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, rely on these services.
