Jordan and Saudi Arabia convened discussions on bolstering cooperation in the energy sector, underlining their mutual commitment to advancing collaboration for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh on Monday, brought together Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh and Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman. Both leaders affirmed the deep-rooted and fraternal ties between the two kingdoms.
During the discussions, the officials explored avenues to enhance energy cooperation, emphasizing the significance of joint efforts in this vital sector. They underscored their shared commitment to further developing and strengthening bilateral relations in line with the common interests of Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended by Jordan’s Minister of Energy, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of State for Prime Ministerial Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jazi, Jordanian Ambassador to Riyadh, Haitham Abu Al-Foul, and Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi. The gathering exemplified the ongoing dialogue and collaboration between the two nations, aiming to promote economic prosperity and regional stability.
