Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, are holding extensive talks in Madrid ahead of a meeting hosted by Spain focused on “Implementing the Two-State Solution.”

Safadi, along with members of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee assigned to international efforts to stop the war in Gaza, will join European ministers and officials at the meeting.

Discussions will focus on efforts to halt Israel’s aggression against Gaza and the escalating violence in the West Bank.

The talks will also explore ways to enhance bilateral relations between Jordan and the European Union, with both sides expressing a strong commitment to strengthening cooperation in various fields.
