The Jordanian-Egyptian Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport has agreed to streamline the transport of passengers and goods between the two countries during a meeting in Amman.

Osama Karadsheh, acting Secretary-General of Jordan’s Ministry of Transport, underscored the importance of these regular meetings, which strengthen the already robust ties between Jordan and Egypt.

He expressed optimism that continued cooperation will advance mutual objectives and enhance the transport sector in both nations.

Sayed Metwalli, CEO of the Egyptian Domestic and International Land Transport Regulatory Authority, highlighted the historic and solid foundation of the Jordan-Egypt relationship.

He emphasised that this partnership is reinforced by cooperation and coordination on shared interests, particularly in the transport and related sectors.
