Israel conducted its most lethal strikes in months on northern Syria’s Aleppo province early Friday and claimed to have eliminated a senior Hezbollah commander in Lebanon, intensifying its campaign against Iran’s proxies alongside its conflict in Gaza.
Reports indicate that the attack has aimed at the city’s primary airport, which has purportedly been targeted in multiple alleged Israeli strikes over recent years.
Unverified videos circulating online depict a significant fireball ascending above the city. Additionally, one video suggests the presence of anti-aircraft fire piercing through the sky.
This alleged strike follows shortly after Syria’s state-run news agency, SANA, reported that Israel had attacked a residential building in Damascus. The attack reportedly resulted in the injury of two civilians and inflicted “material losses.”
