The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared on Sunday the loss of another soldier in the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, marking the 239th casualty since late October, as reported by various media outlets.

The fallen soldier was identified as Staff Sergeant Narya Belete, aged 21, belonging to the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit. Hailing from Shavei Shomron in the West Bank, Staff Sergeant Belete lost his life in battle in the southern part of Gaza.

Additionally, the IDF disclosed that an officer and two soldiers from the Givati Brigade sustained serious injuries during the intense clashes in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday. The Israeli military has been engaged in ground operations in the region as part of their broader efforts in the ongoing conflict.

The situation remains tense as the conflict continues to unfold, drawing attention to the complexities and consequences of the ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip
