Early Tuesday morning, the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” announced the targeting of a “vital target” in Eilat (Um al-Rashrash) using unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a statement on its Telegram channel, they said, “Continuing our approach in resisting occupation, supporting our people in Gaza, and responding to the massacres committed by the occupying entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a vital site in Eilat (Um al-Rashrash) on Tuesday morning, June 11, 2024, using drones.”
The statement further added, “The Islamic Resistance reaffirms its commitment to striking the enemies’ strongholds.”
The same Iraqi faction has repeatedly announced targeting sensitive Israeli ports and sites for several months.
Just days ago, the “Iraqi Resistance” declared targeting Haifa port in Israel with a drone strike.
