A source close to the Lebanese Hezbollah reported that an Israeli airstrike injured a Syrian driver on Friday evening.

The strike targeted a convoy of fuel trucks en route from Syria to Lebanon.

According to Agence France-Presse, three Israeli airstrikes hit fuel tanker trucks at the Syrian-Lebanese border in the Hosh al-Sayyid Ali area, resulting in injuries to a Syrian driver.

The source added that these attacks followed shortly after other Israeli strikes on the same border region.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Israeli airstrikes targeted Syrian territories near the Lebanese border.

However, the Observatory did not report any casualties from these attacks.

This incident adds to the ongoing tensions and frequent airstrikes by Israel on Syrian territories, often aimed at preventing arms transfers to Hezbollah.

The region has seen a significant rise in such activities, affecting the stability and security of the border areas.

Israel has consistently targeted shipments and military installations believed to be linked to Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed groups, maintaining its stance against their entrenchment in Syria.

The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, urging restraint and adherence to international laws to prevent further escalation.
