In response to the daily confrontations in South Lebanon, Israel has intensified its military actions following an attack that killed three Israeli soldiers.
The Israeli artillery targeted Hezbollah positions in Southern Lebanon after the group launched rockets from the Lebanese border toward Northern Israel. Two of these rockets were intercepted.
The Israeli Defense Forces reported that rocket sirens were activated in northern regions.
Meanwhile, sources from Al Arabiya/Al Hadath confirmed the death of three Israeli soldiers and injuries to others in an attack on a military site on the Lebanon border.
The Israeli Defense Ministry stated that approximately ten mortar shells were fired towards the Shlomi area in Northern Israel earlier, all landing in open areas.
In retaliation, Israeli warplanes struck launch areas in Lebanon and targeted Hezbollah’s infrastructure in Southern Lebanon.
This escalation reflects the ongoing tensions in the region, particularly between Israel and Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip, which have intensified over the past month and a half.
The recent incidents highlight the fragile security situation along the Israel-Lebanon border and the broader regional implications of the conflict.
