Pro-Iran Iraqi factions announced on Sunday that they had targeted a “vital site” in Israel using drones, in support of Palestinians in Gaza.

The self-proclaimed “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” stated that their drone attack struck a key location within Israeli territory.

The Israeli military confirmed intercepting two suspicious aerial targets en route from Iraq but noted that the drones did not enter Israeli airspace and caused no injuries.

This incident occurs amid heightened regional tensions, as the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza continues for over 11 months.
