Iraq’s Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani has announced the establishment of an air and land bridge to facilitate the delivery of aid and fuel to Lebanon.

In a statement released by the Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani declared, “Our doors are open to receive the wounded and injured in Iraqi hospitals,” affirming Iraq’s proactive stance in addressing the crisis.

Iraq’s PM also called for an urgent meeting of Arab state leaders currently in New York, urging them to convene an Islamic summit to discuss the repercussions of Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

According to Hebrew media reports, the Israeli Air Force has launched a new wave of attacks deep within Lebanon, as reported by Cairo News Channel in a breaking news update.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center reported on Monday a significant rise in casualties due to Israeli raids on southern Lebanon, the Beqaa Valley, and Baalbek, with approximately 500 deaths and 1,645 injuries recorded.

Thousands of Lebanese began fleeing their homes in southern Lebanon on Monday, seeking refuge in Beirut and other cities as Israeli airstrikes intensified in the region.

The mass exodus comes in response to calls for evacuation and growing fears that the conflict could escalate into a full-scale war with Hezbollah.

Eyewitnesses and local media reported large groups of residents heading north in vehicles, particularly towards the coastal city of Sidon, with many continuing to Beirut.

According to Lebanon 24, the streets and highways in Sidon are now experiencing severe traffic congestion.

Israel is planning a ground assault in Lebanon to establish a buffer zone to distance Hezbollah elements from its borders.

The plan involves occupying a strip of land several miles deep north of the border and transforming it into a buffer zone. The sources have confirmed that the plans for a ground invasion are ready, although Israel does not currently have the necessary forces to carry out such an attack.
