Iran & Saudi Arabia Discuss Military Ties

Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, engaged in a telephone conversation with Iranian Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday.

During the call, the two officials discussed the military and defense relations between their respective countries, addressing issues of mutual concern.

Bagheri expressed satisfaction with the positive development of friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, expressing gratitude for Saudi Arabia hosting the extraordinary summit of heads of Islamic countries.

Additionally, Bagheri conveyed the readiness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to enhance military relations with Saudi Arabia.

In response, the Saudi defense minister welcomed the improved cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
