Munich, Germany, will host a major consultative conference on August 12, bringing together Sudanese civil society groups opposed to the ongoing conflict in Sudan.
The conference aims to form a broad coalition to halt the violence and address the crisis.
Sami Suleiman Hassan Taher, Director of the German-Sudanese Center for Peace and Development in Munich, announced that invitations have been extended to a range of Sudanese civil forces, political parties, trade unions, resistance committees, national figures, and groups affiliated with the “Taqaddum” movement.
Notably, Abdullah Hamdok, former Prime Minister of Sudan and head of the Taqaddum Coordination, will also participate.
