The Israeli military continues its bombardment and air, land, and sea raids across various areas of the Gaza Strip for the 302nd day, resulting in a significant increase in casualties.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health’s daily statistical report on Saturday, the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip has led to the deaths of at least 39,550 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injured 91,280 since October 7th.
The report also noted that thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
Earlier on Saturday, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Abu Hassaneh family in the Mirage area between Khan Yunis and Rafah, resulting in the deaths of five family members, including a child and three women.
In the occupied West Bank, media outlets close to Hamas reported that a commander in the movement was killed on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle near Tulkarm.
The reports indicated that the vehicle was carrying fighters, and one of the Qassam Brigades commanders in Tulkarm, named Haitham Balidi, was killed.
The Israeli army stated that it carried out an airstrike on a militant cell in the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank.
