In a striking turn of events, former US President Donald Trump has voiced severe criticism towards Israel regarding its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

In a recent interview with Univision, Trump described the situation in Gaza as “terrible and unbelievable,” expressing solidarity with the Palestinians in the region.

Trump’s Condemnation:
Delving into the Israeli military operations in Gaza, Trump called them unbelievable, emphasizing the high death toll and criticizing Israel’s public relations efforts in the war.

“Israel needs to do a better job at public relations because the other side is winning on this front,” Trump stated.

This critique comes as a surprise, as reported by Israel’s Channel 12, considering Trump’s previously close relationship with Israeli leadership.

Macron’s Standpoint:
Following Trump’s path, French President Emmanuel Macron also criticized Israel in an interview with the BBC.

Macron urged Israel to cease killing civilians in Gaza, highlighting the deaths of children, women, and the elderly, stating these actions lack justification and legality.

Responding to Macron’s comments, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shifted the blame to Hamas, asserting that the responsibility for civilian casualties lies with Hamas, as they use schools, mosques, and hospitals as operational bases.

Global Leaders’ Concerns:
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken also criticized the Israeli military operations in Gaza.

In his statement, Blinken stressed the need for more efforts to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.

He noted the significant number of Palestinian casualties and suffering during the recent weeks of conflict.
