French media outlets reported that the iconic Eiffel Tower in the French capital, Paris, was evacuated on Saturday after a bomb threat was received.
French channel “BFM” stated that “mine removal experts are present at the site, conducting a sweep to ensure the absence of the alleged bomb, while the Eiffel Tower has been closed to visitors.”
“BFM” learned from a source within the French police that “the three floors of the Eiffel Tower and its front square were evacuated early in the afternoon on Saturday, following a warning message regarding a bomb.”
