Hundreds of Israelis took to the streets in a march on Saturday evening, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and the release of the remaining prisoners held in Gaza.
According to the Israeli newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth,” approximately a thousand Israelis gathered in Haifa, urging immediate action for the release of the remaining prisoners held by Hamas and the fall of the government.
The demonstrators marched from the Carmel Center hall to the partially closed Hurvitz junction, disrupting traffic flow.
The newspaper anticipates that the demonstrations will continue later in Caesarea. Concurrently, dozens of protesters gathered at the Anchor Junction, echoing the demands for the release of the remaining Israeli prisoners.
These demonstrations reflect growing public discontent in Israel, with citizens voicing their frustration over the current government’s policies and the ongoing prisoner situation in Gaza.
The movement represents a significant challenge to Netanyahu’s administration, as calls for change resonate across various Israeli cities.
