China issued a warning regarding potential weather-related disasters, including a drop in temperatures, rainfall, and snowfall in eastern and central China during the current month of December.
According to China’s Xinhua News Agency, it is expected that three cold waves will hit China during this month, as per a joint analysis conducted by government agencies, including the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management and the China Meteorological Administration.
The mentioned agencies have also predicted a high risk of forest fires erupting in parts of southern and southwestern China, pointing out that China may face more destructive waves than usual during this month.
This warning comes as a precautionary measure to inform the public and authorities about potential weather-related challenges in December.
It underscores the importance of preparedness, monitoring, and response efforts to mitigate the impact of adverse weather conditions.
