Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team commander and representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, has secured the title in the 160-kilometre ride at the FEI World Endurance Championship 2024, held in Monpazier, France.
This victory marks Shaikh Nasser’s second consecutive world championship title. “I’m over the moon. Defending and winning is difficult, but we did it with heart,” he said, thanking his team and family for their support.
Endurance riding is a team sport, requiring meticulous care for both horse and rider. Shaikh Nasser’s team of veterinarians and crew played a crucial role, ensuring the horse’s well-being during each phase of the six-loop course, leading to his impressive win.
