Adel Al-Assoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, has stated that the parliament has been in continuous session since the onset of the assault on Gaza, beginning today’s session of the Palestine Committee with a minute of silence in honor of the Palestinian victims killed in the aggression.

During the session, Al-Assoumi emphasized the significant repercussions of the ongoing collapse in the sector and stressed the importance of mobilizing countries worldwide to compel the occupying forces to cease fire.

He urged the international community to adopt a unified stance, rather than remaining silent, to stop the genocidal war being waged on Gaza. Al-Assoumi also condemned the targeting of relief workers, which has resulted in dozens of casualties.

This call for action highlights the urgent need for a global response to the crisis in Gaza, as articulated by the Arab Parliament under the leadership of Al-Assoumi.
