In a significant gathering in Tunisia, the Council of Arab Interior Ministers is set to deliberate on an “Arab Security Plan” during their 41st session at the General Secretariat’s headquarters this Monday.

The session commences with the arrival of Arab ministers alongside security delegations, representatives from the Arab League, the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, and other organizations.

According to a statement from the General Secretariat, the council’s agenda includes discussions on a proposed Arab security plan, an “Arab Media Plan for Security Awareness and Crime Prevention,” and an eighth interim plan for the Arab Strategy for Traffic Safety.

Preparatory work for this pivotal session began this past Saturday, setting the stage for comprehensive talks aimed at enhancing regional security and cooperation.

This assembly underscores the collective effort of Arab nations to address pressing security challenges and implement effective crime prevention strategies in the region.
