Amnesty International has published testimonies from individuals who fled the violence in Sudan. This shocking report, aptly titled “Death Came to Our Door”, lays bare a plethora of inhumane acts committed amidst the nation’s conflict.

Amnesty International’s report points the finger at both warring sides, accusing them of deliberately targeting civilians during skirmishes. The document goes into gruesome detail about alleged instances of rape and sexual slavery, with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) particularly implicated.

Among the victims were girls as young as 12, according to the report. It highlights the particularly alarming and horrific abuse inflicted on these minors, drawing global attention to the unconscionable harm being done to the most vulnerable populations.

Amnesty International also sheds light on the extensive damage inflicted on hospitals and other humanitarian facilities. This systematic destruction has effectively deprived people of access to food and medical supplies, exacerbating an already dire situation.
