Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf held discussions with David Lammy, the UK Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs, focusing on the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Both officials emphasized that achieving a permanent ceasefire in Gaza is fundamental to any efforts aimed at reducing escalation and tension in the Middle East.
The conversation took place during a phone call between Attaf and Lammy, according to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The talks also covered Algerian-British relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.
