On Tuesday, the Chief of Staff of the Algerian People’s National Army, General Said Chanegriha, welcomed Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the Chief of Italian Defense.
According to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, General Chanegriha hosted Admiral Dragone, who was in Algeria for an official visit leading a prominent military delegation.
In his address, General Chanegriha affirmed that Algerian-Italian relations are founded on mutual trust, established over decades of positive and constructive cooperation. This cooperation is grounded in their shared regional history and Mediterranean values.
This event further reinforces the deep ties between Algeria and Italy, marking another step forward in their long-standing military cooperation.
