On Sunday, Algerian Chief of Staff, General Said Chengriha, met with Jasper Vick, the political advisor to the German Defense Minister, to explore opportunities for bilateral military cooperation.

According to Algerian government television, General Chengriha welcomed Vick and the two officials discussed prospects for bilateral military cooperation, as well as ways to enhance coordination on matters of mutual interest.

General Chengriha also commended the strong military cooperation ties between Algeria and the Federal Republic of Germany.

This meeting highlights the ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen military collaboration between Algeria and Germany, as both nations seek to enhance their defense capabilities and foster cooperation on shared security concerns.

Algeria and Germany have been working to strengthen their diplomatic and economic ties in recent years, and this extends to their military cooperation as well.

Algeria, with its vast territory and strategic location in North Africa, has been a key player in regional security efforts.

Germany, as a major European power, has been actively engaged in various international security initiatives.
