In a passionate plea, Al-Azhar, the revered institution of Islamic learning, has called upon the Arab and Islamic world to fundamentally reconsider their reliance on arrogant Western and American powers.
They have urged Palestinians to trust that the West possesses weak military capabilities and outdated ideologies, emphasizing the need for resolute resistance.
In a statement, Al-Azhar stated, “You, the Palestinians, must confront them with unwavering faith in Allah and His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Through your steadfastness against their brutal and barbaric attacks, you diminish their significance, much like their distant influence in Somalia and Afghanistan.”
Furthermore, Al-Azhar urged the Islamic nation to harness its God-given strength, wealth, and resources, along with its military equipment, to stand in solidarity with Palestine and its oppressed people.
They emphasized that the Palestinian people are facing an enemy devoid of conscience, empathy, and morality, one that has turned its back on humanity, ethics, and the teachings of prophets and messengers.
The Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism issued a vehement condemnation of the Zionist entity’s bombing of the Al-Muadamiyah Hospital, which resulted in the tragic deaths of over 800 individuals and the injury of hundreds more.
They emphasized that this massacre serves as irrefutable evidence of the terrorism perpetrated by this entity, which has shown no regard for humanitarian values or international humanitarian law. It stands as a stain on the world and its concerned organizations, whose silence fuels the terrorist actions of this criminal entity against the Palestinian people.
Since the beginning of the latest ruthless Zionist aggression against the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached 2,215, including 724 children (as of the current date).
The Al-Azhar Observatory stressed that Palestinian children have always been targets of the Zionist regime’s brutal machinery, either through killings or arrests.
