Russia has reported that a Ukrainian drone attack targeted a railway station in the Kursk region, resulting in injuries to five individuals.

Moscow authorities disclosed that another Ukrainian drone was downed in the Rostov area, which lies along the Russian-Ukrainian border like Kursk, though no casualties were reported in this incident.

Additionally, authorities intercepted a third drone en route to Moscow, which reportedly crashed in an uninhabited area. These alleged drone attacks have become increasingly common in recent months, contributing to the growing volatility between the two nations.

Despite Kyiv not officially claiming responsibility for several drone attacks within Russian territory, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that such actions are completely necessary, natural, and just considering the circumstances.

According to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, five people were injured by shattered glass, while the station’s roof, facade, and one train platform were damaged. The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the drone attack in Kursk.

A statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense addressed the incident, indicating that they thwarted an attempt by the Kyiv regime to execute a terrorist drone attack on Moscow’s infrastructure around 4:00 AM local time.

These attacks come just a day after a Russian missile struck a theatrical venue in the city of Chernihiv, resulting in the deaths of seven Ukrainians, including a six-year-old child.

Furthermore, 148 individuals were wounded due to the Russian bombardment, among them 15 children.

President Zelensky has vowed to respond to the Russian terrorist attack with a firm course of action.
