The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued a robust condemnation of the recent burning of several churches and numerous homes by extremist groups in Pakistan, along with denouncing the accompanying outbreaks of violence.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) praised the proactive efforts and effective measures taken by the Pakistani government in addressing these criminal acts head-on.

The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering stance against any actions that aim to destabilize security and disrupt stability, actions that run counter to the fundamental principles of human ethics and morality. It emphasized that the promotion of hate speech and extremism are at odds with the global endeavors to foster values of tolerance, coexistence, and peace among various societies.

Moreover, the Ministry underscored the significance of upholding religious symbols and refraining from incitement and polarization during a time when the international community should collaboratively reinforce their commitment to upholding the universal tenets of tolerance and harmonious coexistence. These principles are deemed crucial for establishing enduring stability and sustainable development.
