The Egyptian city of Alamein is set to host a trilateral summit tomorrow, Sunday, bringing together Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Jordanian King Abdullah II to discuss the latest developments in the region.

In a statement issued by the Palestinian embassy in Cairo, it was confirmed that “President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen will arrive in Egypt tomorrow, Sunday, on an official visit.”

The statement further elaborated that “the visit comes in response to an invitation from the Egyptian President to participate in the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian trilateral summit.”
The summit, as stated in the release, will gather Abbas, el-Sisi, and King Abdullah II in the city of Alamein.

According to the statement, the three leaders will address several issues on the Arab, regional, and international levels during the summit.

It’s worth noting that in July of last year, Egypt hosted a meeting of the Palestinian faction secretaries-general under the leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas. The meeting aimed to discuss Palestinian developments, strategies for restoring national unity, and ending divisions.
Additionally, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in the newly established city of Alamein, where the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and the latest updates regarding the Palestinian issue.

A significant regional summit is on the horizon as the city of Alamein in Egypt prepares to welcome Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Jordanian King Abdullah II. The trilateral summit, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, aims to address pressing issues in the region.

In an official statement from the Palestinian embassy in Cairo, it was revealed that President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen will embark on an official visit to Egypt on Sunday.
The statement clarified that the visit is a response to the Egyptian President’s invitation to partake in the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian summit, highlighting the importance of cross-border collaboration.

The leaders’ meeting is set to take place in Alamein, where they will engage in discussions spanning Arab, regional, and global matters, as outlined in the statement.
Recalling a similar meeting in July of the preceding year, Egypt hosted a gathering of Palestinian faction secretaries-general under President Mahmoud Abbas’ leadership. This event focused on vital Palestinian developments, strategies to reunify the nation, and overcoming internal divides.

Further underscoring the significance of these diplomatic efforts, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi previously held talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Alamein, where both leaders exchanged views on shared interests and the ever-evolving Palestinian issue.

Tomorrow, the picturesque city of Alamein will host an impactful summit uniting three prominent Middle Eastern leaders: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Jordanian King Abdullah II. This tripartite gathering, slated for Sunday, signifies a concerted effort to tackle the region’s dynamic challenges.
In a press release distributed by the Palestinian embassy in Cairo, it was announced that President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen is poised to embark on an official journey to Egypt on Sunday, in response to an invitation extended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The summit, taking place in Alamein, underscores the trio’s commitment to addressing a spectrum of issues encompassing the Arab, regional, and international domains, as underscored by the statement.

An antecedent to this summit occurred in July of the previous year, when Egypt played host to a convergence of secretaries-general from Palestinian factions, convened under the leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas. This assembly was dedicated to dissecting Palestinian progress, devising strategies to restore national unity, and ultimately resolving internal schisms.

Furthermore, the historical backdrop of Alamein witnessed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi engage in fruitful discussions with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. These deliberations, occurring in the newly established city, delved into matters of shared significance and the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause.
