The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced, Wednesday, the evacuation of 12 Jordanian citizens from Lebanon via a military aircraft operated by the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

The aircraft, which landed at Rafik Hariri International Airport earlier today, also delivered humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people.

This flight marks the tenth Jordanian aid mission to Lebanon, carrying food supplies, relief materials, medicines, and medical equipment. It is part of ongoing efforts directed by royal decrees to ensure the safe return of Jordanian nationals from Lebanon amidst the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanese territory.

Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, the spokesperson for the ministry, stated that this was the fourth evacuation flight for Jordanians residing in or visiting Lebanon.

This operation is coordinated with the Jordanian Armed Forces, security agencies, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management to secure the safe return of Jordanian nationals.

To date, a total of 102 Jordanian nationals have been evacuated via Royal Jordanian Air Force flights, all of whom had registered on the embassy’s online evacuation platform.

Since the beginning of August, 3,305 Jordanian citizens have arrived back in the kingdom from Lebanon via Queen Alia International Airport and the Jaber border crossing.

The Jordanian embassy in Beirut, in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority and Middle East Airlines, has arranged additional flights and reserved seats for Jordanians wishing to return home.

They have also facilitated land returns through the Syrian Arab Republic.

The joint crisis unit continues to coordinate the evacuation of Jordanians from Lebanon, with ongoing support from Lebanese authorities.

The Jordanian embassy in Beirut remains in constant contact with the Jordanian community, confirming that all are safe and unharmed.

The spokesperson also renewed the call for Jordanian citizens in Lebanon who wish to leave to register immediately on the online platform.
