Iran’s October 1 missile attack on Israel has caused extensive damage, estimated between $40 to $53 million, Israeli media reported on Sunday.

According to Israeli media, this is the largest damage caused by a single missile strike on Israel since its war on Gaza.

The attack, which involved around 180 missiles, targeted multiple sites across Israel, with at least 10 locations sustaining significant damage, including military bases.

While there were no reported injuries from the strike, a Palestinian near the city of Jericho was killed by shrapnel from an interceptor missile.

The Iranian missile barrage was said to be in retaliation for the assassinations of senior leaders, including Hamas politburo leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and an Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander.

In response to the attack, Israeli officials have vowed military retaliation against Iran, with the extent and timing of this response still to be determined.
