France has voiced its concerns regarding the recent security developments in Lebanon, warning that these events are contributing to a dangerous escalation of tensions in the region.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of maintaining peace along the Blue Line, the border separating Lebanon and Israel, to ensure the safety of civilians in both countries.

The French Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated France’s commitment to tirelessly pursuing efforts to restore calm in the area.

They acknowledged recent statements from Israeli authorities concerning military operations in Lebanon and urged Israel to exercise maximum restraint.

France also called for an immediate halt to Hezbollah’s attacks on Israeli territory, stressing that maintaining peace and security in Lebanon requires all Lebanese factions to prioritize national interests and distance themselves from regional conflicts.

This appeal underscores France’s ongoing efforts to support stability in Lebanon amid increasing regional unrest
