Medical sources in Gaza have reported that the death toll in the region has surged to 41,020, the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7.

The Palestinian news agency, WAFA, confirmed the grim numbers on Tuesday, noting that the number of injured individuals has also risen to 94,925.

Many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble, with rescue operations ongoing.

The Israeli forces have reportedly carried out three mass attacks on families in Gaza over the past 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of 32 Palestinians and injuring 100 more.

In one particularly devastating strike, Israeli forces bombed refugee tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis early this morning, leaving 19 dead and over 60 injured, many of whom are in critical condition.

Rescue teams are struggling to access several victims still buried beneath the debris, sand, and rubble due to ongoing airstrikes and blockades, making it difficult for medical and emergency personnel to reach hospitals.

This rising death toll highlights the increasing humanitarian crisis in Gaza as the conflict continues to escalate.
