According to Nebal Farsakh, the Director of Media at the Palestinian Red Crescent, about 1.9 million displaced Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing severe food insecurity due to the ongoing conflict and displacement crisis.

Farsakh emphasized the worsening displacement situation in the Gaza Strip and called for genuine international intervention to pressure Israel to halt its military actions and allow humanitarian teams to operate effectively.

The Palestinian Red Crescent is actively working to establish shelters for displaced families within Gaza and continues to provide essential services to those in need.

Farsakh highlighted the urgent requirement for adequate fuel and medical supplies to support their operations. The organization is utilizing medical points, field hospitals, and ambulances to reach as many victims as possible.

The international community’s immediate and effective response is crucial to addressing the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza and ensuring the safety and well-being of displaced populations.
