Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a message of thanks and appreciation from his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas on Friday.

In the letter, Abbas expressed his and the Palestinian people’s sincere thanks and gratitude for the urgent financial contribution made to rebuild what was destroyed by the barbaric and criminal attack on Jenin.

“We appreciate the Algerian government’s firm stances towards us,” the Palestinian leader noted, hailing its political and economic support for the Palestinian cause on the path to freedom and independence.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly denounced the “barbaric aggression” of the Israeli occupation army against the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp.

The foreign ministry called for an urgent international intervention to stop the Israeli aggression. It also urged the International Criminal Court to “break its silence and start holding the Israeli war criminals accountable.”
