Tunisia & Italy Discuss Migration

Tunisian Interior Minister Kamal Feki and his Italian counterpart, Matteo Piantedosi, engaged in a productive telephone conversation on Monday.

The discussion focused around enhancing cooperation and partnership programmes between the interior ministries of both countries, with a particular focus on addressing issues related to migration and organized crime.

In a statement released by the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior on Tuesday, both ministers expressed their unwavering commitment to strengthening these relations and taking them to new heights.  This reflects the deep-rooted historical ties between the two nations and serves the best interests of their respective friendly populations.

The conversation highlights the shared determination of Tunisia and Italy to collaborate closely on critical matters such as migration management and combating organized crime, demonstrating their dedication to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.
