Jordan’s King Abdullah II, accompanied by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, met today with a delegation of representatives from global companies to explore opportunities for investment and economic cooperation.

King Abdullah emphasized that Jordan’s stable business environment and availability of qualified personnel have enhanced the Kingdom’s ability to attract investments. He highlighted the success of leading global companies such as Amazon and Cisco in Jordan, pointing to the importance of leveraging available investment opportunities.

The King also discussed plans to empower young people to meet the demands of the job market by providing new vocational and academic educational courses.

Delegation members from seven global companies praised Jordan’s efforts to attract investment and improve the business environment as part of the country’s Economic Modernization Vision.

This vision aims to stimulate local and foreign investment, promote investment opportunities, increase export competitiveness, and create job opportunities for Jordanians.

The delegation’s visit, organized by the Business Council for International Understanding, aims to explore investment opportunities in Jordan’s sectors of educational technology, training, technology, digital services, energy, defense, and cybersecurity.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Jaafar Hassan, Director of the King’s Office.
