In a significant announcement, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, the Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has expressed optimism regarding the swift conclusion of the ongoing conflict.

Al-Burhan confidently declared that victory is on the horizon, with the Sudanese people poised to celebrate triumph over rebel militias, particularly the Al-Daqlu family, who have posed a challenge to the state.

Commending the dedication and bravery of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Artillery Forces in Atbara, Al-Burhan reiterated the armed forces’ capability to defend Sudan’s resources, dignity, and sovereignty against any threat.

Al-Burhan further extended his appreciation to all regular forces across various formations and units for their efforts in confronting aggression from rebel militias. He emphasized the collective resolve of Sudan’s armed forces to bring an end to the war in the near future.

Reiterating his commitment to swiftly resolve the conflict, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council reassured the nation that the armed forces will continue to advance towards this goal with determination and resolve.
