The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has asserted that Libya’s improved ranking in the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) is a testament to the restored sense of security and stability prevailing across the country.
According to the 2024 GTI report issued by the Institute for Economics and Peace, Libya has moved from the seventh position in 2022 to the 30th position this year, indicating a significant decline in its exposure to terrorism.
Taking to his Facebook page on Wednesday, Dbeibah highlighted his government’s relentless efforts to consolidate stability in Libya, despite the ongoing challenges.
“I aspire to achieve the ideal image of the state that Libyans yearn for, by revitalizing the wheel of development and bringing life back to all its aspects,” he declared.
Dbeibah’s statement comes as Libya continues its journey towards stability and prosperity, with his government playing a pivotal role in addressing the country’s multifaceted challenges.
